The Florida Elks Youth Camp has a "Limited" pet policy. We ask that you carefully review this policy.
Pet/Animal owners (Guests) acknowledge the following rules and agree to them by signing this agreement at check-in:
-
Animals must be declared during guest registration and for everyone's safety, we require proof of up-to-date vaccinations. Paperwork may be requested for any comfort, emotional support, or therapy animals.
-
Any animal that exhibits aggressive behavior may be asked to leave camp property.
-
Animals must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by the guest.
-
All animals must comply with local legislation requirements.
-
Animals are not allowed in any cabins, the Grafton Center, the Smith Conference Center (including hotel rooms), pool area, or pavilion. This exclusion does not apply to service and/or assistance animals.
-
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their animals on camp property.
-
Any disturbances, such as barking, must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
-
Guests must contact the housekeeping department to arrange for a convenient time for servicing their room. Housekeeping services for rooms with animals require that the owner be present.
-
Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their animals.
-
Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Florida Elks Youth Camp, its owners and its operators from all liability and damage suffered because of the guest's animal. The camp reserves the right to charge guest's account commensurate to the cost of such damages.
Standard Leash Policy
All animals must be leashed or contained in a carrier outside of you room when on camp property. Any animals left unattended in a guest room must be crated. This does not apply to service animals.
