FAQ - Booking & Pricing

Will I have exclusive access to the property?

Our property’s size allows us to accommodate multiple groups at the same time. Your group will only have exclusive access to the meeting spaces and activities booked during the duration of your event.

How do I secure my date?

To secure your date and space use, you must submit the signed contract and deposit to our Group Sales & Marketing Manager.

When do you need a final headcount?

Our Event Services Manager will reach out to you 30 days prior to your event to start finalizing your event details. All final counts are due 1 week before your event.

Do you offer a per person price rate?

We do not offer per person rates. Our pricing is based on space use, per day.

What if I need to move my event date?

If we have availability, events can be moved to future dates along with any payments made.

Can I make changes to my activities and space use once my contract is signed?

Changes to activities and space usage can be made if we have the availability to accommodate your requests.

FAQ - Activities

What time blocks are available to reserve activities?

Activities are schedule for a morning or afternoon block at either 8:30a – 12:30p or 1:30p – 5:30p.

Can I split an activity block?

Activities are scheduled for 4-hour blocks unless otherwise specified or coordinated.

How far in advance do I need to book an activity?

Activities should be booked at least 3 weeks in advance to ensure availability and adequate staffing.

What happens if it rains?

We will coordinate with group leads if there is rain that affects outdoor activities.

ARCHERY - If I book the archery range, do you provide a facilitator?

Yes, a facilitator is provided.

ROPES - What is the age range for participating in the Ropes Course?

The course is open to participants aged 9 and older. However, the Odyssey Course is designed for those aged 12 and above.

ROPES - Can I do the Ropes Course in less than a 4-hour block?

The Ropes Course takes the full 4-hour block to complete.

ROPES - What is the attire for the Ropes Course?

The attire consists of long shorts/pants, a shirt with full coverage and closed toe shoes.

ROPES - Are there forms that need to be completed prior to participation?

Yes, all participants must complete a Participation and Assumption of Risk Waiver. Waivers can be completed electronically.

LAKE - Is fishing permitted at the lake?

Catch and release fishing is permitted.

LAKE - Are canoes and pedal boats included in my reservation?

All reservations include the use of canoes and pedal boats unless otherwise specified.

LAKE - Can I bring my own kayaks or canoes?

Yes, however, the same fees will apply for lake use.

LAKE - Can I schedule my lake activities at sunset?

For safety reasons, we are unable to schedule lake activities during dusk.

POOL - Is there a lifeguard on duty?

For adult groups, pool use is at your own risk. For youth groups, there are lifeguards on duty throughout your activity block.

POOL - Can I provide a certified lifeguard?

Yes, and if you provide your own lifeguard, discounts are available for pool use.

POOL - Can the pool be heated?

One of our two pools can be heated for an additional fee.

POOL - Is there an hourly fee for pool use?

There is only an hourly fee available for adult groups, as no additional staffing is needed, including lifeguards.

POOL - Are there audio capabilities at the pool?

Yes, audio can be played via Bluetooth.

CATERING - What times are meals?

Breakfast is from 7:30a – 8a, Lunch is from 12:30p – 1p and Dinner is from 5:30p – 6p. Please reach out if your group needs alternate mealtimes. Additional fees may apply.

CATERING - Can you accommodate my group’s dietary restrictions?

Yes, we can accommodate all dietary requests and will request a list of dietary restrictions for your group one week prior to arrival.

CATERING - Can you offer two different menus for a group that includes both adults and youth?

Our chef can create a custom menu tailored to the specific needs of your group.

CATERING - Do you have fridge access for our group to store meal prep items?

Yes, we have a fridge in our Pavilion where you can refrigerate food or medical items.

CATERING - Can we serve alcohol at our event?

Alcohol must be served by licensed bartenders, typically coordinated through our preferred vendor. There are additional fees for these services.

FAQ - Rough Camping

If I’m rough camping, do I need to reserve the Shelter?

The Shelter is a shared space among groups in the Rough Camping area for use during inclement weather.

Can I use extension cords in the Rough Camping area?

Per Fire Code, extension cords are not permitted.

Can I bring my own portable fire pit?

Only ground fires are permitted in the Rough Camping area.

Are there any additional activities available in the Rough Camping area for groups?

The rough camping area has disc golf and hiking trails available for group use. Firepits can also be reserved for nightly bonfires.

FAQ - Accommodations

Do you have handicap accessible cabins and/or hotel rooms?

Yes, we have both handicap accessible cabins and hotel rooms.

Is there an age restriction on staying in the hotel rooms in the Smith Conference Center?

Guests must be at least 18 years old.

Do we have to provide our own bedding and towels for our stay?

Bedding and towels are provided for those staying in executive cabins and hotel-style rooms in the Smith Conference Center. Those staying in camper cabins need to come prepared with their own bedding, pillows, blankets and towels.

How many people can sleep in a camper cabin?

Camper cabins can accommodate up to 9 people. There are four bunkbeds and one single bed. Beds are twin size.

Can I have a pet in a cabin/hotel room?

A Pet Agreement is required, along with a $100 pet fee, if you plan to bring a pet during your stay.

Pet Policy

Can my guests pay online for their overnight accommodations?

Unfortunately, we don’t have this capability, and all guest payments are to be made through the group lead.

Do you offer golf cart rentals?

Yes, we have 4-seater golf carts available.

Do you offer kitchen rentals?

We do not offer kitchen rentals.

Do you offer tables and chairs?

Yes, we provide tables and chairs and can arrange your meeting or event space in a layout that best suits your needs.

Do you have Wi-Fi and or AV capabilities?

Wi-Fi is available on property for an additional fee and all our meeting spaces are equipped with AV capabilities. Inquire for specific details.
